EXTRA-MURAL ACTIVITIES

A variety of extra-mural activities is organised and controlled by the teaching staff - with the assistance of professional coaches where necessary. These activities cater for the keen sports enthusiasts for whom league matches against other schools are organised, as well as for the child who wishes to participate with a view to learning the basic skills and to enjoy social participation within the peer group.
Cultural and other activities, e.g. chess, art, environmental club, drama, etc are also offered.

We encourage all learners to take part in at least one activity. Details of each term's extra-murals are published in the school's circulars. Parents/caregivers are asked to ensure that attendance is regular and that participants wear the correct clothing to the practices and matches.

A limited extra educational support programme for English and Mathematics, as well as auditory and/or vision fitness gym, is offered after school hours.

These activities are free of charge.

Activities:
Cricket, cross country, soccer, rugby, tennis, netball, swimming, hockey, T-ball, mini-tennis, mini-cricket, mini-netball, fun and games, storytime, speech and drama, senior and junior choirs, a dance group, art clubs, chess clubs, a computer club, a recorder club and an environmental club.

xtra-mural activities usually commence 15 minutes after school ends and last for about an hour, with the exception of league matches that take most of the afternoon.
